Ubisoft Collab Launches a $500,000 Treasure Hunt

Yep, you read that correctly! Ubisoft and Unsolved Hunts have joined forces to launch Gold & Crystal – The Lost Treasure of Edward Kenway. This real treasure hunt is to celebrate the upcoming launch of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and includes the opportunity to win a whopping $500,000!

Beginning of 9th November, the treasure hunt will officially start and players will need to begin working through 15 riddles, all eventually leading to a hidden chest in the Caribbean. These riddles include a decipherable message in a bottle, collection of letters, map of the Caribbean and a whole bunch more and all of them are fully solvable remote.

Inside this chest of loot is $350,000 worth of exclusive gold coins and a $150,000 crystal skull.

Anyone can pre-order access to the puzzle, with numerous tiers available for extra things like physical goodies, additional games, notebooks etc. Pre-ordering will also include a prologue to the treasure hunt and access a week earlier than the official release. Just bear in mind that if you’re wanting to take part, it’s said that this hunt will last between two and five years!

Gold & Crystal will officially begin on November 9th. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9th for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
